Kennel Attendant

Feed, water, and provide care for dogs and cats in an animal shelter. Required to keep records of feedings, treatments, and animals received or discharged. Will clean, disinfect, and repair cages or pens. Customer service also required to meet all customer needs. Previous experience in animal care preferred. Previous experience in training, administering medications, and vaccinations also preferred. Duties include lifting and carrying of 50 to 75 lbs. This applies to food bags and live animals. There will be extended periods of standing, walking, stooping and bending. Part time position offering 20-30 hours per week.

Events at JRHS:

May 30 from 4p-7p JRHS is having a Grill Out at Hugo's. Please come and enjoy the food and support JRHS.

June is Adopt A Cat Month. Adopt a cat month is a nationwide event where shelters profile their cats. JRHS is participating in this event by reducing the adoption fee of cats by $10. Come out and see our beautiful cats. You may just find your new best friend.



June Open House/Rummage Sale. JRHS is having an open house on June 14 starting at 9:30 a.m. We are looking for volunteers to donate their gently used items (no clothing please), to help set up or help with the rummage sale. Donations can be dropped off Tues-Sat 10-Noon or 5:30-6-30 p.m at JRHS.
