Strut Your Mutt

The "Strut Your Mutt" fundraiser for Pet Connection Humane Society in Bismarck yesterday afternoon was a great success. Before the 4K non-competitive walk started, Father Patrick Schumacher of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan blessed the dogs. Each registrant received a St. Francis pet medal. Everyone had a great time and funds were raised for the shelter. Volunteers walked shelter dogs: this gave them an opportunity to get outside and socialize with people and other dogs. Great news: David found a permanent home! The family walking him at the fundraiser decided to adopt him.
