So, I was watching the E! "before the Emmy's" show. Teri Hatcher from Desparate Housewives approaches Star Jones and what do they talk about? You might guess any one of the popular topics of Hollywood: the thousands of dollars in jewelry they're wearing, the "in" fashion styles, plastic surgery... But, no, none of these topics come up. Instead...they talk about their pets! I was a little surprised to see Star Jones on the red carpet amidst all the glitz, glam and gilded lifestyles burst into conversation about her Maltese pooch!
A lot of people idolize celebrities and pay close attention to what they say, what they do and how they live. Perhaps celebrities talking about their pets will set a good example for others on having an animal companion, especially kindness to animals.
